Terrace on the Domain is a glass-walled reception venue inside the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, with wraparound terraces and the city skyline behind. It seats up to 180, or 350 cocktail style, and has direct access to the Calyx, the Fig Tree Lawn and the Rockery Lawn, so the ceremony can be a short walk away and the flowers move with you.
The room is full of natural light, which suits lighter flowers: low garden-style arrangements or bud vases down long tables, a feature piece on the bridal table, and the ceremony arrangements repurposed to the bar and the terrace. More in our guide to reusing your wedding flowers. For the ceremony spots themselves, including what works on each lawn and how the ranger escort works, see our Royal Botanic Garden wedding flowers guide. The Garden's other reception venue, Botanic House, has its own guide too.
